PR firm pull out of their contract with Scrutiny

Orchid Communciations have dropped their contract with the Scrutiny panels because their efforts to help them reach out to the public are ‘consistently hampered by internal disagreement’. The company, who were retained by the Scrutiny panels in October last year, have given a month’s notice and will finish their work on 15 July. Orchid’s resignation letter, leaked to the JEP, says that their job to promote Scrutiny and help panels engage with the public has been made too difficult by internal wrangling among the States Members on the panels.
