Described as an instant success by Suma’s and Longueville Manor Hotel owner, Malcolm Lewis, the restaurant quickly established itself as a contemporary eatery serving fresh local produce.
Suma’s won 2 AA Rosettes within four months of opening and then a third in 2003.
The 55-seater restaurant appeared in the Good Food Guide to Britain and was named in the top four British restaurants outside of London by Premier Crew in 2000.
