At a public hearing on Friday, Senator Cohen will assess Dandara’s latest proposals for Castle Quay and could make a decision on whether to approve it just days later – but not before Islanders have had their chance to have a final say. Senator Cohen will also consider plans for an office development and accommodation on Liberty Wharf on the Island Site annex. Castle Quay sits between the new Radisson Hotel and Harbour Reach and could be the site for 358 flats, restaurants and gardens. Senator Cohen spoke out last month to say the scheme would be thrown out unless it was an improvement on previous plans that had frustrated and disappointed Islanders so far.
