Upton matches apart, it will be largely a step into the unknown for managers Dave Walsh and Keith Le Cornu, but Walsh is expecting to face a strong Sarnian outfit: ‘They’ll have a couple of players we know from the U18s and we’ll have seen a good number of them playing for North in the recent Upton at Springfield.
‘But we’ve trained well together for some time now, so although we’ve not had many games, I’m pleased with the way the squad has shaped up.’ The teams will be playing for the Nigel Gavey Memorial Trophy, with the match – the last competitive game of the season, kicking off at 2.30 pm.
