Tigervision, a UK company founded by Jersey resident Stephen Hervieu, has acquired sixteen:nine, which has a number of Jersey clients including Jersey Tourism and Jersey Telecom.

Mr Hervieu, who was born in Jersey and educated at Victoria College, has recently returned to live in the Island with his family.

After graduating from Kings College London, he started his career as a trainee editor at the Moving Picture Company in London, working mainly on commercials, and then moved to TVam to work on news, sport and features before going freelance.

As an editor and director he went on to cover major international events such as the G7 Summit, the US elections, Wimbledon and Formula 1, founding Tigervision to develop some of his own projects.

The company now provides corporate communications and advertising for major companies such as News International, Marks & Spencer and easyJet.

Acquired company sixteen:nine was formed in 2003 by Martin Davey and produces broadcasts for many well-known companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, British Airways and HSBC as well as regional businesses.

Mr Davey, who has worked in Germany and trained as an editor and cameraman, also led the creative team behind the Passport to Safety scheme in Jersey.
