Le Hocq protesters make their angry voices heard

The meeting outside Craigie Gardens in Le Hocq Lane was organised by parish Constable Derek Gray and Deputy Ian Gorst and attracted people from around St Clement who said that they were sick of the overdevelopment in their parish. Deputy Gorst’s efforts also attracted a fax from the developer – Le Hocq Investments – warning him not to trespass on to the land around the bungalows, and ‘reserving the right to take action’ against him if he did so. The Deputy urged those who attended to write to Planning and protest against the plans, which he said would dwarf neighbouring houses and represent another overdevelopment in Le Hocq Lane.
