Cameras are being used to keep an eye on students at Les Quennevais, Grainville, Haute Vallée, Le Rocquier and De La Salle, as well as at Highlands College. Jersey College for Girls is the only secondary school which has refused to comment on the issue, and Victoria College and Beaulieu say that they do not use cameras. Education Minister Mike Vibert told the JEP that he would be concerned if CCTV cameras were watching pupils in States schools without his knowledge – but when the JEP then informed him that they were, he said that it was not an issue.
