He will tell politicians conducting a review of ministerial government today that they should consider checking the powers of the Minister for Planning and Environment. He said that putting so much responsibility in one politician’s hands raises the potential for corruption. He also said that the ability to authorise ugly buildings which can stain the landscape for generations should not be held by one person.
