Nick Gibbs, MP , spent the day visiting three of the Island’s schools and meeting the Education Minister Mike Vibert and members of his department. While he was visiting Springfield School, he said he was impressed by the children’s enthusiasm for maths. Making Maths Make Sense (MMMS) is a new approach to teaching mathematics which is being implemented in most primary schools in the Island as well as some secondary schools.
