Flying Brands feels the climate change effect

The St Lawrence company reported lower than expected trading this week for its garden and entertainment divisions during the second half of last year, although the gifts division traded ‘positively’ and sales from the Flying Flowers division were ahead of forecast.

Like-for-like sales were 5% behind the same period in 2005, although overall second half sales were 19% ahead of last year including sales from Greetings Direct, which was acquired in September.
