ATHLETICS: First man and woman home in the Jersey Spartan Athletic Club 12 km race from West Park yesterday were Andrew Murfin (42 min 58 sec) and Maria de Jesus (48.33).
De Jesus also won the W35 group.
Other age category winners were Rob Douglas (46.33, M40); Peter Le Couilliard (44.35, M55); Kerry Petulla (51.27); and Sue Le Ruez (52.08, W45).
GOLF: Bret Allen and Richard True won La Moye's Nugent trophy with a net 66.
Peter Garnier and Robert Newton were second with a net 67 and Chris Veal and Chris Young third, also on 67.
MOTORSPORT: Mac du Feu won the A Route competition at the Jersey Classic and Modern Trials Club event at Valley Farm yesterday.
Graham du Feu (Pre 65) took the B Route and Trevor Daghorn the C Route.
Other winners: Pre 65: Archie du Feu; Twin-shock: Ryan Harrison; Junior A: Richard Vibert; Junior B: Thomas Mollet; Junior C: Christopher Vibert.
SHOOTING: Ashley Sech won Class A and high gun in Crabbé Clay Pigeon Club's 50-bird sporting competition with a score of 43 ex 50.
Ross Boydens took Class B with 41 ex 50 and Adrian Fox Class C with 23 ex 50.
BADMINTON: Former England No 1 Mark Constable beat current England Under-24 player Neil White 15-5, 15-8 in the final of the men's singles at the Jersey Open tournament.
Constable also won the men's doubles partnering Chris Evans.
Marianna Agathangelou and White won the mixed doubles when they beat Constable and Lucy Burns in straight sets.
GOLF: Chris McNabb won the Demi GS monthly medal at St Clement on Saturday with a net 57 off his 20 handicap.
Paul King was second with 58 off 14 and Kenny Mitchell third with 60 off nine.
HOCKEY: A late goal gave Caesareans a 4-4 draw in the JHA Investec Women's League Senior Cup first round match against Jersey Ladies.
In the Minor Cup Jersey Ladies were beaten 10-0 by Crusaders Juniors.
