JEP photos go online

The online photographic service launched this morning also includes hundreds of pictures taken during yesterday’s Battle of Flowers, meaning that your friends and relatives all over the world will be able to buy them.

The archive images are being added daily to the newspaper’s Temps Passé series, providing a unique portrait of Jersey’s development, its people and places over the last century.

David Edwards, JEP marketing manager, said: ‘This new service means that not only can Jersey residents now view and order our pictures of Island life from home or the office, but also that many thousands of people around the world with Jersey connections will now be able to do so very simply.’ Matthew Hotton, JEP deputy picture editor, said: ‘This is an exciting new service for our readers and makes buying JEP pictures from this week or from many years ago much simpler, quicker and more convenient.’ The JEP pictures can be seen by logging on to www.thisisjersey.com/pictures
