The prison Governor, Mike Kirby , announced the suspension of both escorted and unescorted home visits following the escape of a man serving six years for wounding another man with a bottle.The new tagging scheme and day release for prisoners on the external work programme will continue.Mr Kirby admitted that a mistake had been made on Sunday when Darren McCormack gave his escort the slip in a flat in Rouge Bouillon.
