In an Islandwide survey carried out by the council last June, consumers voted strongly in support of Jersey milk produced by the the Island’s dairy with the majority against the importation of other brands to compete with local dairy products.They showed that, far from wanting cheap imports at any cost, they were aware of the implications for the Island breed.But while shoppers might be loyal to Jersey Milk, they gave a resounding call for prices to come down.
