This morning a judgment ruled that the ‘hop on, hop off’ service had breached the terms of its licence, awarded by Public Services, and must not operate this summer.And the company could be sued by Environment and Public Services for damages after lawyers reserved their right to take action against Easylink in the future.Delivering the court’s judgment, the Deputy Bailiff, Michael Birt, said that the service was not conforming to the conditions of a char-à-banc licence, which they had been originally awarded.
