A total of 27 individuals feature on the shortlist for the awards, which are designed to celebrate strong leadership and recognise excellence across the private, public and third sectors.

The finalists were decided by an independent judging panel chaired by Lisa Springate, former IoD chair and head of legal and technical at Jersey Finance.

Joining her on the panel were:

lDaragh McDermott, chief executive of JT Group.

lPhil Slatter, founder and chief executive of Reel Creative.

Commenting on the nominations, Ms Springate said: “This year marks the 14th anniversary of the IoD Awards in Jersey, as well as 14 years of continued sponsorship by Appleby. What truly stands out this year is the remarkable diversity of industry sectors represented, making this year’s entries particularly exciting.”

Alex Ruddy, chair of IoD Jersey, added: “This year’s finalists prove that Jersey’s leadership talent is thriving across all areas of the economy, not just the finance sector. The independent judging panel has selected finalists who have shown impressive business acumen and a commitment to driving positive change within their organisations and the wider local community.

“It is exciting and refreshing to see leaders from such a wide range of industries being recognised for their contributions.

“This year’s awards ceremony will be a special celebration of Jersey’s dynamic business landscape, and we look forward to coming together to honour their achievements for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.”

This year’s enchanted-forest-themed gala will take place at the RJAHS on Friday 8 November.

Actor, writer and producer Sally Phillips, known for her roles in film series Bridget Jones Diary, and TV shows such as I’m Alan Partridge and Miranda, will host the evening.
