In other words, the 5 ft 2 in Commonwealth Games marathon runner and former jockey believed that she could have run faster than that.
First Jersey woman back was Le Rocquier teacher Andrea Banks, who finished fourth.
The first man home was Jethro Lennox (2.32.05) and the first Jersey runner was Nick Saunders.
