Rugby: Three junior internationals among Reds latest recruits

Oli Bryant, Josh Hodson, Tom Pincus and Jason Worrall will be homing in on St Peter next month in time for the start of pre-season training.

Said Biljon: ‘I believe there’s going to be some real talent in our back-line as we approach the new campaign. Oli, Josh, Tom and Jason all have great ability and I expect them to be competing hard for places in our starting XV.’

Hodson, Bryant and Worrall have represented Wales, England and South Africa respectively at junior level, while Pincus has been plying his trade in the top domestic league in Australia for Queensland County.

Meanwhile, the Reds have confirmed the names of the 18 players leaving the Island this summer following the club’s best-ever finish in the Championship (fifth, level on points with fourth-placed Doncaster).

Those players, many already announced, are: Ross Adair, Joe Buckle, Nick Campbell, Jack Cuthbert, Samisoni Fisilau, James Freeman, Nick Haining, Gary Graham, Sam Katz, Simon Kerrod, Rich Lane, Sean McCarthy, James McKinney, Pierce Phillips, Lewis Robling, Nick Scott, Mark Tampin, George Watkins.
