JERSEY REDS will assess the capabilities of three shortlisted coaches this week as they look to replace Alex Rae.
Confirmation of the forwards coach’s impending departure was announced on Tuesday, and club chairman Mark Morgan expects a successor to be appointed by the end of March.
Rae will continue in his current role until the end of the 2016/17 season, when his family will move back to the UK ahead of the birth of his second child.
‘We’ve put out feelers to get an idea of what’s available within our budget and we actually have a shortlist of three which we’re already working through,’ said Morgan.
‘We hope to conclude [the recruitment process] within the next couple of weeks, maximum, because it’s important for everyone to know who’s going to be in place. It helps with recruitment.'
