New signing Scott to start at Scottish

Lewis Robling makes a welcome return to the Jersey squad

NEW signing Nick Scott will start on the wing for Jersey Reds tomorrow, as they lock horns with London Scottish for the fourth time this season.

The former Bath and London Welsh player joined the Islanders from Sale Sharks at the beginning of the month but has yet to pull on the red shirt because of Jersey’s two-week break from Championship action – an extended pause because of London Welsh’s expulsion from the division.

Scott’s inclusion is one of three changes head coach Harvey Biljon has made to his starting XV for the trip to the Athletic Ground, as Jack Cuthbert makes way for Sam Katz at full-back and Jake Woolmore comes in at loosehead prop. Katz is expected to take responsibility for place-kicking ahead of on-loan stand-off Callum Sheedy.

Lewis Robling, who picked up a nasty head injury at Rotherham Titans in November, also makes a welcome return to the match-day squad.
