In what head coach Harvey Biljon describes as the hardest selection of his career, the South African has omitted his club captain because of the form of those around him.
Instead of the towering 23-year-old, Nick Campbell and Australian Dave McKern will start in the second row at the Athletic Ground tomorrow afternoon.
‘I’ve selected many teams in my time but this has been the most difficult,’ explained Biljon
‘It’s been pretty tough but we’ve gone with a team we feel is right for Richmond.’
