Both given a bye through the opening round, the two islands will meet at Springfield in the autumn as they look to re-write record books that are less than pleasing to the eye.
Neither side has won a game in the competition since Jersey progressed into the third round in 2010, and Guernsey’s poor run extends back to 2004/05, when they reached the semi-finals under current Guernsey FC boss Tony Vance.
‘I’m pleased we’re at home, it’s a good draw for us and it’s certainly a winnable tie,’ said JFA Centre of Excellence director Paul Renton.
Second round ties of the 39-county competition must be completed by Saturday 5 November, with the third round taking place by 10 December.
