The 17-year-old former Janvrin School pupil, who was born in Los Angeles, helped the United States U19s lift the Slovakia Cup last month following group wins against Georgia and Ukraine before defeating Russia 2-1 in the final.
Fossey, who extended his youth contract at Fulham FC in April, is likely to be included in the US U20 men’s squad for a four-nation tournament in California this month for matches against Costa Rica, Japan and Panama.
The tournament is part of the US cycle to evaluate players ahead of selection for the U20 World Cup in May 2017.
