Cricket: Jenner named in T20 Team of the Tournament

Although Jersey failed to qualify through the group stages, the 17-year-old Sussex Academy player impressed, with his explosive batting, in particular, catching the eye. With a high score of 90 not out, Jenner scored 210 runs in six innings, at an average of 52.50 and a strike rate of 144.82.

Making the Team of the Tournament announcement on their official website on Wednesday, the ICC described Jenner as ‘the engine room around which the Jersey batting line-up was built’ and a ‘revelation in the tournament’.
