The move to enter a team into the Investec Women’s Trophy – a knockout competition for club 1st XI sides in the upper levels of the regional leagues – is seen as a significant step forward for Island hockey and JHA president Ed Daubeneny says it’s vital that players are given the opportunity to challenge themselves.
