Magpies announced their decision last night at the Combination’s annual general meeting at Fort Regent.
Magpies are not folding, they are suspending for a year with the intention of returning to play in the Combination’s under-35 division.
Magpies president Bernie Perrier said: ‘I’m devastated; we have done all we can do, we’re still a working club, we have a committee and finances but no manager.’
