Over 80 compete in Durrell duathlon

The adults ran a 2.5-km course twice before completing a 21-km cycle ride that took them around parts of the east of the Island before finishing by racing a third lap of the run. The juniors completed shorter courses within the Durrell park.

The winners of the men’s and women’s events were Commonwealth Games triathlete hopeful Tom Perchard in a time of 1 hr, 2 min, 46 sec, and Jo Gorrod in 1.12.37.Luke Holmes was first home in the under sevens and Dan Roderick took the honours in the under 11s.
