Ben Harvey is looking for an ‘angry’ reaction from his Jersey players as they seek to restore the fortress reputation of their home ground.

The director of rugby has picked a ‘robust’ side from whom he wants a passionate response to opponents, such as Leeds Carnegie tomorrow, who seek to win on Jersey soil.

‘We’ve been annoyed when teams have come here and spoiled everyone’s day by beating us in front of our own fans,’ Harvey admitted. ‘If we’re annoyed, then let’s see a reaction: let’s get angry and work really hard to make sure they get nothing.’

As expected, there are changes to a Jersey squad who know they can move two places up the Championship table with victory over Leeds, with every possibility of maintaining 10th position into 2013 – rivals Doncaster and Moseley face tough trips to Bristol and Nottingham respectively on Sunday.

"Fortress reputation" really? With who, St Mary's ladies?!

Leeds aren't really going to care if 'Jersey get angry'. If anything it will just make them even more up for steamrollering over the relegation cannon fodder in front of them.
