CELTICS made it a hat-trick of victories in the Jersey Basketball League with a 64-44 defeat over E-Scape Vipers in Division I on Wednesday.Undermanned Celtics, without regulars like Bob Gouzinis and Isidro Da Mata, came from 6-1 down to lead the first quarter 13-8 after a combination of fast breaks from Duncan Prince and Tareq Haddad.
Despite strong offensive efforts by Vipers’ James Reed and Andrew Baretto, Celtics extended their lead to 27-18 in the second quarter.
Haddad and Greg Ruellan converted multiple open jump shots and lay ups, scoring ten and six points respectively.
