‘Bold mark making’ wins the day

She was chosen as the winner of the first-place £500 prize in the Original Student Art Exhibition by last year’s winner, Nadja Lane, who said: ‘What strikes me initially with Kirstie’s work is her bold use of mark making.

Kirstie (26) is currently studying fashion and textiles at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, in Holland and she said she was delighted to win.

The exhibition continues until Saturday at Jersey Arts Centre.
