Lawyer Giles Corbin suffered multiple leg injuries when the jet ski he was a passenger on was in collision with a speedboat in St Brelade’s Bay.
The boat driver was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving before being released on bail pending further inquiries.
In a Facebook post Mr Corbin (45) said: ‘I can’t tell you how wonderful it feels to be home.
‘Absolute tranquillity and calmness relative to the 24/7 frenetically busy shared post-trauma bay wards in Salisbury,’ he said.
‘Whilst this is an important milestone I still have a very long way to go on regaining flexibility and function in my left leg,’ added Mr Corbin, who is due to return to the UK for a scan next month.
