The food hall is due to open seven days a week in the autumn.
Marks & Spencer in Jersey is operated under franchise by SandpiperCI, the largest operator of food convenience shops in the Channel Islands.
Stephen Forrester, managing director of Marks & Spencer Jersey, said: ‘This significant investment will create ten new job roles and a useful facility to nearby residents and workers newly located to the Waterfront area.’
There are six M&S stores in the Island including the newly refurbished home store at Liberty Wharf.
