Three arrests have been made following the death of former Haute Vallée pupil Kyle Pringle and a quantity of drugs seized, the States police said yesterday.
During the weekend the authorities warned that a potent drug, labelled Ikea, was circulating and several Islanders needed to seek medical attention after taking the drug.
A number of Islanders have since paid tribute to the teenager on the JEP’s Facebook page.
‘What a terrible, tragic waste of a young life,’ Laydee Langlois wrote. ‘My heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends. It is devastating for everyone.’
Amy Daniel wrote: ‘How very sad. I remember him from when he was at school with my sister. Thinking of Kyle’s family and friends at this horrible time.’
Tina Burt said: ‘It’s so sad. I remember Kyle when he was at primary school and my thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.’
