Keligh Jerard Botting, who was described in court as having learning difficulties which meant he was more emotionally attached to younger people, was also charged with resisting arrest and being in breach of a previous probation order.
The Royal Court heard that Botting ‘could not explain why he did what he did’ but that there was no element of force or threats during the incident.
He pleaded guilty to all three counts and was jailed on Thursday afternoon.
