Three Jersey and three French boats were searched during the operation, which was conducted by a Jersey Marine Resources team on board the Norman Le Brocq and officers from Les Affaires Maritime in Cherbourg.
The patrol covered both Jersey and French territorial waters.
One of the boats – a French leisure fishing vessel inside the French part of the Granville Bay area – was reported for an infringement.
An investigation is under way.
