Two months after Ana Rebelo (51) was found dead in her home in St Helier, the States police have issued a brief update on their investigation.
A total of 240 lines of inquiry have been identified and about 95 remain live. Some of these involve forensic work.
Six officers are working full-time on the inquiry and family liaison officers are still working with Mrs Rebelo’s family.
A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after the death, and a 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder one-month later, remain on police bail.
In a statement, the States police said: ‘Two suspects remain on police bail. However, there is no suggestion that the public are at any risk.’
