Race for Life runners raise £30,000 for cancer charity

More than 500 Islanders took part in the annual Race for Life Jersey to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The women’s-only race started at La Frégate and runners could either choose to take part in a five or ten kilometre run.

Although the numbers of those taking part this year had halved compared to last year’s race, the annual event still managed to raise thousands of pounds.
