Appeal over Trinity scheme is dismissed

Environment Minister Steve Luce agreed with the recommendation of independent planning inspector David Hainsworth that the plans to replace a 1960s bungalow – La Nouvelle Chasse – off Route d’Ebenezer with two three-bed, one four-bed and two five-bed properties were overbearing. As a result he dismissed the appeal.

In his report to the minister, Mr Hainsworth said that there had been a ‘considerable’ number of objections to the plans from interested persons, in particular about the scale of the proposed development, the impact on neighbours and the effect on traffic.
