The court heard that the defendant of St Brelade, had been suspended from driving by St Brelade parish Constable Steve Pallett as a result of concerns about the effects of glaucoma on her eyesight.
The court heard that the allegation is that despite the suspension of her licence in February, she continued to drive and, as a consequence, she was not only driving without a licence but also without insurance cover.
