With Article 50 due to be triggered today, signalling the start of formal negotiations for the UK’s exit from the EU, Theresa May has written to Senator Ian Gorst providing a series of assurances.
The letter says that the UK ‘remains committed’ to engaging with Jersey over the possible consequences of Brexit.
