Richard Corrigan takes on the newly created role after previously acting as the government’s interim director of financial services.
He will oversee States teams responsible for a number of the key government projects. These include the financial services policy framework, the cyber security strategy and the digital policy framework.
Chief Minister Ian Gorst welcomed Mr Corrigan’s arrival.
