Vernon flies in for Comic Relief to delight of St Peter’s pupils

After being met at the Airport by pupils from St Peter’s Primary School and British Airways staff, who organised the event, the celebrity boarded a red London bus to meet the waiting public at the Weighbridge.

Mr Kay said that he was glad to be back in Jersey.

Meanwhile, Team British Airways Jersey is planning to ‘Dance Themselves Silly’ as part of their fund-raising efforts for the 2017 Comic Relief Red Nose Day this Friday.

Plans are in place for a 12-hour Danceathon in the landside departure terminal at Jersey Airport between 6am and 6pm.

During the day they will be joined by a number of dancers from local primary schools as well as Irish dancers.
