‘Scrapbook bunker’ mystery is solved

St Brelade Centenier Amanda Wright was worried that an Islander was planning a revenge attack after she saw the cuttings, which showed pictures of Chief Minister Ian Gorst, a Guernsey sex offender and various local and national news stories about drink-driving.

The Centenier was so concerned that she uploaded the intelligence onto a centralised police system which is viewed by States police detectives.

However, hours after the story was published in Wednesday’s JEP, Mrs Wright was contacted by the mother of an A-level student who had used the bunker in St Ouen’s Bay to make a film as part of her studies. The film was about a person wanting to seek revenge for someone being killed, according to the Centenier.
