Pedestrians were frightened by speeding rider

Centenier Peter Garrett said that people using the busy crossing near the Steam Clock were frightened as a result of the speed the vehicle ‘went between them’.

During a hearing this week, a 26-year-old, of Kensington Place, pleaded guilty to seven motoring charges, all committed on 24 February.

He was immediately banned from driving and is due to be sentenced on 28 March.
