Skiing tragedy: Tributes paid to a ‘real gentleman’

Mark Le Sueur, known to friends and family as Frank, had been on holiday with his family at the popular Val d’Isère resort when he crashed on Thursday afternoon.

The 57-year-old from Trinity was airlifted to Grenoble Hospital but died, of a heart attack, according to reports, before he arrived.

A short press release issued on behalf of Mr Le Sueur’s family confirmed that he had died following a skiing accident and said the family would not be commenting at this time.

Mr Le Sueur, the son of the late former St John Constable, John Le Sueur, was described online as a ‘wonderful, funny and very kind man’ and a ‘very experienced skier’.
