Flood warning issued for Jersey

Jersey Met say a combination of gale force winds and a high tide of over 36 ft is expected to cause flooding along the south coast of the Island.

Some roads are likely to be closed.

The warning, which advises ‘extreme caution’, is in force for the period around Monday evening’s high tide at 7.18 pm.

An orange warning – the second highest level of alert – has been issued for Tuesday morning’s high tide at 7.36 am.
