Prison! Me! No Way!!! is currently developing the programme alongside Driver and Vehicle Standards and Islands Insurance. It is hoped that the scheme can be introduced by April.
Lesley Harrison chairwoman of the charity, which hosts workshops in schools across the Island, said that action had to be taken now before someone was seriously hurt.
She said: ‘At this moment in time we are developing a workshop aimed at young drivers which will focus on a number of different areas including young people moving on from scooters to more powerful motorbikes, people who have just passed their test, the dangers of wet roads and the impact of speed.
