The 39 year old, of Havre des Pas, caused more than £1,000 worth of damage to motorbikes, cars and vans in public car parks on two separate incidents.
As well as being jailed he was also banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £457 in compensation after admitting charges of malicious damage, taking and driving away motorbikes, refusing to give a breath sample and going equipped to steal and theft.
The Magistrate’s Court heard that on the first occasion he damaged three motorbikes in Snow Hill car park on the evening of 11 January and also tried to take the vehicles away.
However, he had no way of starting the bikes and simply pushed them a short distance before he was stopped by the police.
