Candlelit parade for park accident victim

Clinton Pringle died in June three days after being seriously injured while crossing Tunnell Street.

The parade in his memory is due to leave the west side of the park at 6 pm and head towards Tunnell Street.

People will then be encouraged to light a candle and say a prayer in memory of the youngster, who was on holiday in the Island from Scotland when he was killed.

Some words prepared by Clinton’s parents are due to be read at the event.

Organiser Nicola MacAteer said the parade was being held to remember Clinton during the festive period.
