The Very Rev Bob Key will officially leave his position on 28 February to move to the UK to work as part of a national prayer initiative called Thy Kingdom Come 2017.
He will also be taking up an invitation from the Bishop of Bath and Wells to be part of a team developing that diocese’s new strategy for mission and evangelism.
After honeymooning in the Island 42 years ago with his wife Daphne, and serving as the Dean since 2005, Mr Key says he will always have a special connection to Jersey.
